20-year-old Sophie lives with her single mother Donna on a small Greek island. Sophie is planning her wedding and wants her father to walk her down the aisle. Problem is – she doesn’t know who her father is. Reading her mum’s diary, she figures out there are three potential dads, so she invites them all down to Greece for her wedding without them knowing the purpose of their visit, nor Donna knowing that her old flings are on their way! This is the production of two of the former Abba members; Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, based on around 20 of Abba’s most popular songs. This musical has recently been made into a film, with Maryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Stellan Skarsgård and Colin Firth.

Excellent! Best show ever seen. If you love Abba songs it's a must! Very well performed and brings the songs alive!

This is one of my absolute favourite musicals in London, and a definite must see (unless you don’t like Abba music). The story is a bit shallow, though, don’t expect something deep and serious. This is a truly feel good show; it’s entertaining, it makes you laugh and it’s full of amazing dance performances and Abba songs, including “Dancing Queen”, “Money money money”, “Take a chance on me”, and many more. This is a guaranteed great evening (if you like Abba music that is). I’ve seen the film too, which is ok, but not half as great as the musical, and if you’re seeing both, make sure you see the musical before the film not to spoil it.
