Grease is based on the hugely popular American movie featuring teenagers in their last year of high school in the 1950s. The cool grease guy Danny, leader of the gang the T-birds falls in love over the summer holidays with the prudish Australian good girl Sandy. They thought they would never see each other again, but to their surprise, they end up at the same high school. However, things are then different, Danny has a reputation to maintain, and Sandy doesn’t really fit in.
